The REAL Far Right
Who it is that people are most frightened of? Who has the law on their side? Who is it you cannot make jokes about? Who is securing power through tribal dominance and threats of violence?
From the second World War onwards, a new morality has governed the Western world. Adolf Hitler became the new devil and Nazism the new evil. Thus, the quickest way to show you are good moral person is to denounce Hitler and Nazis and prove that you are nothing like them. Equally, the worst accusation you can level at someone as a justification to shut them down, dismiss them, or claim they are dangerous, is to call them a Nazi. It’s almost become a nervous tick or reflex to be the first person to accuse a political opponent as being a Nazi, before they accuse you of it. As summed up by Godwin’s Law: as any online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler increases. In recent years, calling someone a Nazi has become interchangeable with other equally defamatory terms such as fascist and far right. But these terms no longer have any real resemblance to the specifics of what the Nazi’s actually did or believed in. Fascist and far right is now used to describe anyone who diverges from the woke progressive status quo in any way.
However, there does seem to be one belief system that seems to have escaped the accusation of being fascist and far right. Islam. In fact, criticising Islam, criticising followers of Islam, or wanting to reduce immigration from Islamic countries, is one of the quickest ways to get yourself labelled as fascist and far right. Which is why here in the UK, our government’s public enemy number one, the ultimate far right fascist thug, and the supposed leader of the far right thugs, is Tommy Robinson. Why? Because Tommy Robinson opposes Islam. He drew attention to the Pakistani Muslim rape gangs in the UK who were targeting white secular girls. He criticises Islamic teachings, Islamic culture, and sharia law. According to our ruling elites, this is as far right and fascist as it gets.
At this point we ought the remind ourselves of what actually characterises the far right and fascism. The etymology of the term fascist refers to a political force having strength through unity. This requires a rejection of the needs and rights of individuals in order to enhance and sustain the power of the group. Under fascism, power is obtained through political violence, which is encouraged, along with the forcible suppression of opposition through intimidation, fear and coercion. It is extreme and puritanical with regards to how it sees and treats those outside of the group, those who leave the group, or those who do not live up to it’s ideals. This can include, Jews, gay people, women, or any belief system, race, or class of people different from it’s own. This is often accompanied by a rigid sexual hierarchy where women are kept under men’s control through an extreme form of patriarchy. Any of this sound familiar? If you want to know who the true fascists are, ask yourself who it is that people are most frightened of? Who has the law on their side? Who are you not allowed to make jokes about? And, who is securing power through tribal dominance and the threat of violence?
In the last 20 years, the vast majority of terrorist attacks and political violence has come from Islamic extremists: there was the 2004 madrid train bombings, killing 193 people; the 2005 London bombings, killing 56 people; the 2015 attacks in France, killing 157 people; the 2016 bombing in Brussels, killed 35 people; the truck attack in France, killing 87 people; the Christmas market attack in Germany, killing 55 people; the 2017 UK Manchester arena bombing killing 23 people, and the Barcelona attacks killing 24. This is only to name some of the most egregious but, of course, there have been many more. But the fear and intimidation tactics do not stop there. If we look to the UK, for example, According to recent polling:
52% of British muslims believe it should be illegal to show an image of Mohammed
62% believe in restricting freedom of speech to prevent criticism of their religion
44% believe schools should be able to insist on the wearing of the hijab or niqab
52% believe homosexuality should be illegal
1/3 of UK Muslims aged 18-24 believe that apostates should be put to death.
In the UK, we still have a teacher who has been forced to leave his job and live in hiding because he showed a cartoon image of Mohammed. Meanwhile, former conservative MP Mike Freer had to step down due to threats on his life from Islamists and an arson attack on his office. Alongside this, the House of Commons speaker had to change parliamentary convention to protect members of parliament from sectarian intimidation and to quell fears of violent attacks on MPs.
The current UK government are considering bringing in a definition of islamophobia in to law which defines criticisms of islam and muslims as racism. This new definition of islamophobia could also include merely suggesting that Muslims are more likely to commit acts of terrorism, or that Muslims pose a threat to European society, or simply complaining about immigration from Muslim majority countries. It should be worth saying that there has been no consideration of any ‘chrsitianphobia’ laws. There is no ‘hinduphobia’, ‘sikhphobia’, or ‘buddistphobia’ laws. There is only one group and one religious belief system that the UK government are interested in protecting, or, rather, protecting themselves from. In London, as with many capital cities across Europe, we have seen open violence and hostility towards Jews, organised ‘Jew hunts’, open support for Hamas, and the resurgence of holocaust denial and the swastika. For the first time in a long time, the label of fascist and nazi is actually accurate. The rise of Islamic culture in the West is the real far right, and the fact that we’re all too frightened to say it only proves the point further.
Yes to all of this 💯
I understand phobias are generally considered irrational. But Islamophobia or "fear of Islam" should be the view of all rational people. They want to be feared. They should be feared.
